The new action-thriller ambulance Michael Bay displays cast all-star and comes from universal images. Will the new epic come to Netflix? The answer seems yes but the schedule isn’t too interesting.
Starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Eiza González, this film focuses on two robbers stealing ambulances after their latest heist is wrong.
Will the ambulance be on Netflix in the United States?
Yes, it looks like the answer but not for some time.
When we say some time we mean four years. That is what we can prepare from the Netflix announcement in July 2021 as part of a new US agreement expanded with universal images.
It specifically said:
“As part of the agreement, Netflix will also allow the right to the full animation and live action slate from UFEG about 4 years after the release and the right to choose titles from the Universal Film Library.”
That means we expect an ambulance to arrive at Netflix in the early 2026.
It contrasts with an animated lineup from universal (either through illumination or Deamworks) which comes to Netflix as part of the first window (but not all).
If you want to watch a movie faster, you have to wait to drop Peacock 45 days after it hit the theater. It will also be on the DVD.com Netflix service later in 2022 too.
Will an ambulance be on Netflix outside the United States
Unfortunately, we do not know through public information whether the ambulance will be on Netflix but we can see where the universal film license Netflix to get ideas about what area can be seen in the near future.
South Korea seems to have what is close to the first window deal where he received a new universal film about 9 months after releasing in theaters. That was what happened to F9 who arrived at Netflix South Korea in April 2022. If it was a problem for an ambulance, we would see the film added at the end of 2022 or early 2023.
Next, we moved to the area that received a universal film about 2 years after their theater debut. These regions include Britain, Australia, Israel, Poland, Turkey, and others. For these areas, you can expect streaming ambulances in 2024.
Then another area received a universal film far further down the line. For the most part, however, the possibility of universal chooses to put the films on its own platform, it has a personal interest where the trend we expected to continue to see.
Until the ambulance hit Netflix, you can still watch Michael Bay’s Netflix Movie 6 underground which is unfortunately not green for a sequel. You can find a complete list of Michael Bay films on our Netflix here.
