Flying fully under the radar on Netflix recently is the disclosure that Pacific RIM: The Black will return for the second season in April 2022. Here are all we know so far.
Pacific RIM: The Black is the original Netflix anime series made by Greg Johnson and Craig Kyle, and based on Live-Action’s Pacific RIM films. Polygon image is an animated studio behind the series, which Netflix customers must be more than familiar. Polygon is responsible for the production of the Anime Godzilla trilogy, Knights of Sidonia, and Drifting Driftons.

Anime fans will be happy to know that RIM Pacific: The Black has been updated for the second season. When the announcement was first made that anime adaptation from Pacific RIM was in the work to be produced two seasons.
When writing RIM Pacific: Black is only available for streaming on Netflix for less than one week, but has made an impact.
In a limited time, it has been available for streaming, Pacific RIM: The Black has made it a top 10 list of 26 different regions, including the US. If the series has been updated, the performance must guarantee the second season.
What is expected from Pacific RIM: Black Season
Will Taylor and Hayley reunite with their parents?
After stumbling in hunters, Jaeger who was tested by their parents, Tayler and Hayley now have hopes they can find them immediately. There is no body found in debris, and instead, video messages are left with their parents. They were forced to escape when their nuke was jammed, and there was no other way to destroy Kaiju they were fighting.
With the only instructions for their existence of Sydney, Taylor and Hayley will continue to make their way to City Coastal hoping to find their parents.
What is the mysterious boy?
The boy was a Taigma to Taylor and Hayley, and throughout the first season, he proved very special. Able to take a shot without injury, and able to communicate with other Kaiju several mysteries peeled when it was revealed that the boy was actually Kaiju.
Changing into one of the creatures when defending Hayley, the implication of this is that the precursor can make Kaiju look like a human and hide it lightly.
Boy is a valuable friend for Taylor and Hayley, but also dangerous. Can Boy think for himself? Or does he have to follow the precursor command if given? For now, at least, he has proven to act on his own will.
The sisters have plans for boys?
Shane has offended the sisters in the past, but we finally received their first glimpse at the end of the season.
The mysterious cult has a connection to Kaiju, and seems to worship alien creatures. Their sights of boys, call him “Kaiju Mesias.” The possibility of their intention will kidnap him and replace him as their cult leader. With greater ambitions using a boy to destroy the remainder of mankind.
Will May take revenge on Shane?
Shane’s threat still seemed weaving and May wanted to take revenge on him. Learning that Shane took him away from his parents as a child and changed his memory in the process to make him believe that he was his surrounding savior. Along with Joel’s death, May have every reason to take revenge on him.
At the moment we don’t know where Shane is, but one thing is clear is that May one day will meet him again, and take revenge for all the difficulties he has caused.
When is the Pacific RIM: Netflix Season’s Release Date?
Netflix has not released a trailer for Pacific RIM: The Black Season 2. However, we have learned before the anime will return to Netflix on Tuesday, 1922 April 2022.
