In the midst of increasing violence along the border, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelskyy called for Russian President Vladimir Putin to look for resolutions for the crisis.
“I don’t know what the President of the Russian Federation desires, so I propose a meeting,” Volodymyr Zelsky said at the Munich security conference.
“Ukraine will continue to follow only diplomatic roads for peaceful settlement,” he added.
On Saturday, US Vice President Kamala Harris acknowledged “the possibility of the real war” and reached European allies with a boost to increase western determination in imposing sanctions on Moscow if Russia invaded Ukraine.
Meanwhile, when the tension grinding, US President Joe Biden and his colleague Russia Vladimir Putin had agreed to the principle to hold a summit of the Ukrainian crisis.
According to the Office of the French President Emmanuel Macron, “This substance must be prepared by Secretary (A.) of the Minister of Blinken and (Russia) Lavrov during their meeting on Thursday, February 24.”
However, the peak can only be held in the condition that Russia does not attack Ukraine, the statement added. French President Emmanuel Macron will help prepare the contents of the discussion.
