The last season Kid Cosmic will come to Netflix globally on February 3, 2022, which will conclude the series a year after the first performance of his debut.
Topheaded by Craig McCracken, who has worked on some of the most iconic toons for children over the past two decades, including PowerPuff Girls, Foster’s house for imaginary friends, and roaming there.
First of all the debut in February 2021, the show will be extended for two more seasons by Netflix back in August 2021, although it seems that the show was given a big order in advance. Season 2 then dropped to Netflix on September 7 with the subtitle “The Intergalactic Truckstop!”.
For three seasons, we have followed a man who lives with his grandfather and dreams of becoming a superher. His dream came true after he found 5 cosmic stones.
This is also mostly produced at home on Netflix Animation, albeit with the help of Mercury Filmworks.
Unfortunately, Craig McCracken confirmed that season 3 would be the last in September 2021. However, the creator stated that this was always a plan given Netflix asked them to make a 3 season story bow. He also confirmed again on December 2021 that Netflix had the last season but was waiting to announce when aired.
Now, months after season 2 landing on Netflix, we can confirm that the 3 Kid Cosmic season will be released to Netflix globally on February 3, 2022.
This event will subdue only six episodes. It dropped out of ten that we saw for season 1 and 8 for season 2. According to McCracken, this is “deliberately planned by me and the team as the best is to tell the story we want to convey.”
The first display trailer is available on Netflix, but we have instilled it for your convenience below.
The third season will be subtitled “The Global Heroes!”.
We will keep this post-to-date with more about the third and last season of Kid Cosmic as and when we learn more.
